The culture of Early County dates back to 1818, it was named for Peter Early. The county is bordered on the west by the Chattahoochee River. There are many exhibits in the museum which follow the history and families in Early County.  Early County is an agriculture based community growing corn, soybean, cotton and the top crop peanuts.  There are many stories and lives following the history of these crops.
